Black & Decker BV6000 High Performance Blower/Vac/Mulcher (BV6000)

Had this for 3 years used it around 5 times . Less than 1 hour each time. I would use it more but it stops working. It will not turn on at all. It did come on last spring but since then nothing. It's a good unit from a good company but not this time.

The vacuum works great until the tube dislodges, which happens constantly. I have to tab it against the ground to engage it again and again and again...ect. A 10 to 15 minute jobs is more close to 30 minute job. If I have a small area to clean, I just hold the tube against the base to finish up. This is my second one in a short amount of time( I took the first one back within weeks of purchasing it). This product is inexpensive but cheaply made.

I bought this unit last year and it worked well. I got it out and used it for a few minutes this year and the rheostat electric switch went out. Now it is good for nothing.

This is the third blower/vac I've owned in this line. A real workhorse. I've abused them to no end and they just keep on doing what they're made for. Only complaint I've had is that where the vac tube connects to the motor seems to lose it's seal after a time. Lets lots of dust escape up into your face. A good bungee cord resolves that. Whoever invented the little oscillator for the end of the blower tube is a genius!!

Second unit do to handle failure on 1st after 6years, hard to keep vacuum switch engaged. Second unit was/is a "HOG" like the first... BUT THE REENGINEERED BAG is in a word GARBAGE compared to original cloth bag AND MUCH SMALLER.
Repaired my old cloth bag at seam rip...PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD BAG!!
Steel impeller is the way to go...chews up just obout everything.

I’ve had my leaf blower for some time. Besides blowing fir needles and leaves off the roof, this blower has a great feature — it can vacuum and mulch the leaves resulting in space saving for yard debris container or put directly in the mulch pile.

I got this as a gift, glad I picked this item, it’s worth it

impossible to attach vacuum tubes to power supply.
Called, put on hold.
Could not help, transferred. More hold. After 10 minutes asked by machine to leave number for customer service to return call. This was Friday.
Sunday I received an email re replacement of the bag. I have not even assembled the thing yet. How to I know about the bag except the complaints on line about how shoddy it is.
I did reply to the email.
Withe two tubes assembled as instructed, it is now impossible to use the box to return this product.
I knew Mr. Decker as a neighbor in the 1950's. This would have appalled him.

I bought this a couple weeks ago, finally got to use it recently. Pros--vacuum is very powerful, sucks up leaves wet or dry, as well as small twigs.Fairly lightweight, easy to handle. Cons--the collection bag is not very thick, I don't think it is going to last very long. The strap for the bag is very narrow, no shoulder strap, not very comfortable to use. Overall, I am happy with the performance of the unit, but the accessories are lacking in quality and comfort.

high performance blower vac/mulcher. worked well but the bag has a lot of room for improvement. Had a lot of leaves to do, was able to blow them into piles and vacume to dispose. everything went pretty well, it was the first real wlove orkout I've given it hears my thoughts: Love the power! moves all leaves even in fairly long grass. love the vac. had no problem sucking up leaves even damp ones. filled the bag in less than 3 minutes. Hate the reusable bag, the material is cheap. I can tell it won't last, shredded leaves gets stuck to it and the material is already starting to fray at the bottom where the slide bar goes on which I also dislike. It's hard to dump the bag into the large paper lawn waste bags we are required to use and your disposable bags are too small and way to expensive! also the strap on the bag is a total waste, no pad and too narrow makes it too cumbersome to properly use.
