Black & Decker HRV425BLP PET Lithium-Ion Robotic Vacuum with LED and Smartech

Battery started fading quickly after about 6 months of use, then refused to hold a charge after 8. Stuck it the garage hoping to fix it.

Now I have time time but can’t find a replacement battery anywhere, part N509670.

I’ll update the post if/when I figure it out.

Owned this for about 6 months now it won’t eject the collection tank

Black & decker offered a refund as I was told they no longer make pet hair vacuums

In order to get the tank out I have to press very hard on eject

After mess than a year or was broken... I have To send it in an other City To know if they can do something with it... I was pretty satisfied before that...

The 1st one I had was junk it stop working within one month. So i call black and decker got a new one so far. Could have been a lot better will never buy another one I u get WHAT u pay for.

I got this vacuum for Christmas (2017) and it worked great for few months but then one front side sweeper brush stopped working and now back in October it has stopped charging. I used it at least 4-5 time a week but it lasted very short time. I don't have a receipt so can't even return it.

This has been a lifesaver. Our dog sheds like crazy and this unit, with its large dust bin, is more than up to the task. Our floors have never looked cleaner.

If you want bang for your buck, then I highly recommend vacuum!!! I have used this vacuum roughly 20 times in the past 2 months and it will works great every time leaving my floors spotless!!!

not sure what every ones problems are, the one I bought working fine, after 5 runs it finds its docking station every time. only got caught up on an area rug once, found its own way around the problem. at least half as noise as the regular vacumm.

Great little unit - plugs over and around a lot. I have to baracade it from going where I don’t want it to go because I know it will get jammed up because I have a lot of items ground level. But for my kitchen and dining room floor so I’m not sweeping daily is great. Set it to run every morning almost as my alarm clock! Gets brush errors sometimes outta no where but what I don’t like the most is it’s long time to go back to the charger ! I’ll find it no where near it even though it ended almost right in front of it. But for the price I paid I am thrilled with its ability - and if you can find it on sale GO FOR IT ! You won’t regret it.

I have no complaints. I have owned the HRV425BLP for a month now and it does a great job. I could not believe how much dirt and dog hair it picks up. The only time that it has given me a error code was when I hoping that a rug in the front door would not cause trouble with it cleaning the entrance way but the rug was very thick so it would catch the end of the rug and get caught in the main brush. I now roll it up and set it to the side, out of the way. After I thought about it, I could not have done that with an ordinary upright sweeper because it would have done the same thing. I have read that some customers stated that there Robot had trouble finding it's charging dock. my experience is that It some times takes it more time, when Bandit ends up in one of the bed rooms but it will finally find it's charging base. Only once I had to pick it up and put it back in the same room as the charger and then when it see it's home it sneaks up on it like a cat playing with her toy and when it's lined up it speeds up a little like a cat jumping on it's toy. When you down load the App to your Mobil phone you get to name the sweeper so I named mine Bandit. The only option I wish it had was an invisible wall so I could restrict it from going places that I did not need it too. I now just lay a broom handle across the door opening to block it in. I realize that there are some more expensive robot's out there with more bells and whistles on them but they are twice the money or more for my money the Black and Decker does a great job for the money.
