DeWalt DCN701B Description
The DEWALT®20V MAX* Cordless Cable Stapler is built for residential wiring applications, primarily fastening Romex® brand wires and cables. Made in the USA with global materials, this stapler has a proprietary cable guide that helps to drive staples over cable. The compact frame and lightweight design are ideal for tight spaces. A center-mounted LED light helps to eliminate shadows and illuminate the work area in low light conditions. Compatible with DEWALT DRS1800 1" insulated cable staples (sold separately). *Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 20 volts. Nominal voltage is 18.

Quit shooting staples
This is my second staple gun. The first one quit shooting staples in about a week. Returned the staple gun to the store and they give me a new one. I've used the new one and, " OH BOY " it lasted maybe 3 weeks and has also quit shooting staples. Counting the 5AH battery and charger I am in this thing for a little over $400.00. I'm not sure what the problem is.
I do like the staple gun when it's working. But it sure sucks when you are in the middle of a big house and not only did it quit shooting staples, it quit with 2 different guns. I just want a staple gun that works. I want what I paid for. All of my other DeWalt tools are great. I give them all a 5 star rating. Any suggestions please let me know. Thanks

Good idea
I’m an electrical contractor and I have four of these stapler’s love the way that they save me time when they are working correctly at least two of them stay in the repair shop all of the time. Waiting on someone else to come out with one hopefully it’ll be a lot better than theses are

Worked as designed
Just stapled my solar panel 12 AWG Romex in the attic.

Game Changer
I had 3,000' of 12 and 14 ga wire to install myself. This made the job so much faster and neater. Being able to hold the wire nice and flat while you staple with the other hand. I triple stacked wires and again with my one hand I could keep the stack nice and neat. I never once miss fired to nick a line. The light is great. All of the overhead stapling was so much easier because you can again stretch out the wire with one hand and hit it with 2 or 3 staples with the other from one position. Also there's a decent amount of power to send the staples home (unlike those manual wire staplers

Great tool
I just picked this up a few weeks ago and been using it love how convenient it is especially 2 10/3 romex under a staples is great
