DeWalt DCR025 Description
The DCR025 is designed to be the most versatile Jobsite Radio Charger on the market. The unit is able to run off and charge all DEWALT slide pack battery packs including 20V and FLEXVOLT packs at 3 AMPs when plugged into an AC outlet. The unit is designed to include woofers, tweeters and air ports to provide clear and rich sound at all volume levels. An over sized device storage box protects devices from worksite conditions and includes an Aux and 2.1 AMP USB charging port for convenient device charging. 2 AC Power outlets on the side of the unit allows you to plug in additional tools or chargers without occupying additional outlets on the wall. AVRCP (Audio Visual Remote Control Protocol) allows you to control your device from the radio interface so you can keep the device in a safe place and skip to the next song or hit replay on the radio interface.

Sound Volume Issues
When using the radio on bluetooth with the source being my laptop, the volume has suddenly decreased substantially. I have the radio less than 10 feet away from my desk and I have to turn the volume up to 20 to listen comfortably. I can max out the volume and still listen comfortably.

No volume on iOS devices poor radio reception.
My iOS devices no longer work with Bluetooth. Very low volume. Apple has no answers. Can’t find a firmware update for this radio. Never had good radio reception. Bought the first one and had to return it right out of the box , no reception. Not really happy with it.

Bluetooth volume inop
Go to use the bluetooth on radio and the volume isnt very loud even when turned up all the way

Power button won't turn on or off
The radio got turned on and went to turn it off it wouldn't. So I took battery out then the smaller circle one battery put it all back in and turned on by itself, no way to turn it off. WHAT DO I DO..,

Love this radio
I've been useing my boom box everyday since purchased. It has worked everytime without ant problems. There is a lot of bad reviews but so far myn has been great

Not well designed
The usb charger door is very hat to open. The charging port for the usb is very hard to reach. Can’t read the display unless you are at the exact angle. You have to move the antenna to access the battery charger. And at $249 for a radio, it’s very expensive for what it is, and usually DeWalt pricing is very good especially for the quality.
I do like you can charge a phone on just the battery and the the battery charger is very fast.

Not what I expected.
The main reason I recently switched to Dewalt was the 4 bay simultaneous charger 12v and 20v. Was looking and waiting for this radio to show up at my local Lowe’s for long time. Every place is out of stock. Just found one sitting at the bottom shelf and bought it right away. The Lowe’s display model was 12v and 20v charger and this radio only 20v. Bottle opener removed. Recently bought a lot of 12v tools and that’s a big disappointment I can’t use the 12v batteries on the radio. How can they degrade the product and raise the price and keeping the same item and model number? The display is impossible to read, you just need to look at one specific angle. I just want my 2 wasted hours and gas back.

Pricey but really good radio
Was on a job with no power. The guys and myself needed some tunes to help the day along. So I went to Lowe’s and picked up this thing. Was more expensive than the last one I bought but it was improved too. A few of the guys liked the quality/features and sound so much they went and bought them one.

BIG SOUND, GREAT FEATURES BUT COULD BE BETTER
Love the look, the sound and bass, phone charging features and Bluetooth. First of all I'm only saying this as it costs $340 with tax, if it was 100 bucks I wouldn't expect so much, my issue is my galaxy s20 doesn't adjust volume with buttons, doesn't have an auto off feature when not playing any music, mine didn't have the bottle cap accessory that shows on this site, also the screen could be a lot better for the price, it's like a gameboy 1990 screen. With all that being said I got it free with Canadian Tire money so I'm pretty happy, just feel they could of done more for $299.

Most rugged and loudest on the market
This thing is a beast. I bought mine 3+ years ago. It's blasted, charged, and kept us sane for 40+ hours every week. Only thing i wish, the Bluetooth would go farther. 100ft isn't very far on big jobs.
