DeWalt DCS361B 20V MAX 7-1/4" Cordless Sliding Miter Saw (Bare)

I like a lot about this little saw. BUT, there are drawbacks.
With a redesign the depth off cut could be increased to accommodate. taller stock.
The shroud around the back of the blade is too long and interferes in the cuts.
Move the motor towards the top of the saw and you greatly increase the cut depth.

Light weight. Easy to carry. Works well.

I am a handy man with many smaller jobs to travel to. I purchased this saw to stop transporting my older very large miter saw. I wish i would have gotten this long before. the weight and ease of transport is fantastic. The battery means no more cords or counting on a good electrical circuit at the customer location. the back light tot he blade works fantastic, so much better than laser options. The dust is collected very well int he collection bag. I would buy another immediately if this one was damaged.

Excellent quality saw and very compact makes setting up a breeze.

I thought I needed the 10” but this is amazing. Does everything I need it to do. No cord is sooooooo good!!

I have had this miter saw for about 6 months now and I find that my large, heavy, corded miter saw rarely comes out anymore. That doesn’t mean I don’t love that thing but when it comes to a grab and go to cut up some 2x4s or molding at my parents house or running over to my sister’s house to help finish her basement, why lug the big one around.

This saw is built to the same quality as all the other saws in the line up. The fact that it is cordless makes it that much more flexible. It’s easy to forget its cordless because I haven’t been on a project yet where I’ve had to change a battery when I plug a charged 6 Ahr Flexvolt battery into it.

If I had one complaint, its that you can’t pivot the blade to the right for angled cuts. It can make it difficult when doing crown molding.

Not cumbersome like a 10”. Slide makes all the difference. While it is a little restricted because of size, carry it with me as I am running baseboard to make small adjustments when needed.

When it came out it was amazing. Like normal Dewalt leads the market into something and sits on it. All the competition has came out with more power and dual bevel and work better now. Yes it is not as cheep but you could at least come out with a second model that stays up with them or ahead of them. If you want to be the best you have to stay ahead.

I got this saw as a Christmas gift and have used it so much since I got it. I love the lightweight portability of this saw and the fact that I can go work jobs out in the boonies without needing to drag around a generator to run it is such an awesome feature. I love that it runs on the same 20v system as most of my other tools so there's no need for extension cords and a big heavy saw. Ive used this saw to cut 2×6 lumber up and it works awesome. I did a few remodel jobs cutring 2× and I ran it almost constantly for 2.5 hrs on a 3 amh battery before I switched it out for a new battery. It also works great for trim jobs and ive even used it to cut pvc piping which is great. I love this saw and will always recommend it to anyone in the market for a great saw that is a lot less hassle than a full size corded miter saw.

I have had multiple compound miter saws in the past and the cord is usually the biggest pain as a DIY professional. I was concerned about power and length of charge; however have been using this for months now every weekend (all weekend on one charge). Quite, efficient, powerful, and easy to store and use!
