More than 10 Years and Still Running Like New!
I came to this site for a drill case and decided to do a review of the DW511 drill. I have had this drill for more than 10 years. I mostly use it on small projects around the house and for a few bookshelves and cabinets that I built for home use over the years. I do not know how it performs on large jobs or with constant use. But, it has never failed me. For my purposes, this has been an outstanding investment and I'm very pleased with the consistency and quality.

Works Great
I bought this drill to be able to drill into block wall in order to frame a basement bathroom. I have used it for many other projects since. I think that I can switch between the hammer drill and regular. The drill is fantastic and very powerful.

Sounds terrible, sounds like grinding rocks
Purchased about a year ago. Used it then to drill 2 holes in cement. Worked fine. Went to use it just the other day and all of a sudden sounds like rocks are In The motor. Just using the drill not the hammer. Very disappointed

Easy to use
This is a very well made product. It went through the concrete "like "butter". Love this drill.
