DeWalt DWST590014 Flooring Knee Pads

first off they are very thin, they fall off and keep sliding up and down your knee.the stitching is coming off of it,i wore them less than a week then switched back to my others i was using for a while.

One of my main problems with kneepads are the way the straps bunch up your pants into the back of your knee. If youre working on floors, etc for an extended amount of time you know how uncomfortable this is. This is NOT the case with these kneepads. These kneepads are so unbelievably comfortable you can work in them all day long without the added rub of the back of your knees. They are easy, simple, awesome everyday pads. These should be in every tradesman's vehicle.

These came just in time to lay my new floor. The gel made a huge difference. They are incredibly comfortable and made the job much easier. By far the best knee pads I have ever owned. Highly recommend.

I use these knee pads when laying floating floors. I like the gel padding and 2 straps to hold it to my legs better.
However, the overall size is a little big and my knees tend to slide around some.

These new knee pads are very good. The straps are nice and wide allowing them to be snug enough to keep the knee pads in place without any discomfort. The straps are easy to adjust The buckles work very well and can be fastened easily even with gloves on. The knee pads while in use is very comfortable, the gel distributes the pressure evenly avoiding sore spots. I have not used them long enough to comment on the durability of the contact surface with the floor. So far very good, time will tell.

After my initial use of these didn’t go great due to wearing shorts, I switched to pants and they were much more comfortable. The have good support where you need it. They do twist a bit but once they’re tightened they work great. They are supposed to be for flooring but the twist on them makes it so the clasps can sometimes go straight for the floor which is odd. They are comfortable while wearing pants so make sure you do that. With shorts the straps just cut into you too much and slide much more due to sweating. Good gel.

Very comfortable knee pads! I have used many different kinds and different brands but these out preform the rest! Very easy to put on and remove and very durable! A lot of the other brand knee pads often fall off or are uncomfortable when wearing long pants but these are amazing!

These knee pads arrived the very day I needed them, just in time to lay pavers around our flower beds. Unlike other knee pads I own, the straps had easy adjustments and fit comfortably. Pads also had sufficient padding to protect the knees. These will be my new "go-to" knee pads from now on.

At first glance the knee pads are just knee pads like any other. They are sold as flooring knee pads. Obviously they can be used for anything but they really hit the mark for flooring.
I have had the knee pads for two weeks now and have truly grown to appreciate them. For flooring, the important aspect is a softer shell so as to not scratch the floor. These have that while also adding a bit of grip so your not just sliding everywhere. The face is flat which lessens the likely hood of your knee rolling around trying to stay on the knee pad.
The straps are my biggest issue with any kneepad, however these are pretty decent, the material is soft enough not to irritate the skin to bad and when you get the adjustment of the tension on the straps right, they really don't bother me at all. Keeping the lower strap snug and the upper strap a bit looser seems to be the trick here.
Upon arrival I was a little disappointed with the gel zone of the kneepad. There is plenty of gel to cushion anyone but there was no target area for the kneecap so it felt, at times, like my knee didn't know where to go. Now being 2 weeks in, they have broken in a bit and my knee has made just enough of an impression in the gel to land in the same spot everytime I kneel. So if 6ou get them allow a short break in period.
I gave the 4 out of 5 stars because I'm reserving the fifth star for the kneepads that have straps that never bother me at all. They probably will never exist, and these may be the closest thing to it.
Last thing to add is that the knee pads are soft and comfortable but still seem to be super durable.

I recently installed about 400 square foot of Bamboo flooring in a residential home. I had to remove existing carpet, re attach subfloor and nail and glue down the new flooring. So I spent about 4 days on my knees crawling around. Also constantly up and down. I was able to use the Dewalt gel pads and actually put them to the test. I have used many other pads over the past 40 + years in this business so at first I was not expecting too much difference. However, I was pleasantly surprised by these. The quick loop straps are a good option. They are easy to put on and off knees without the velcro strapping or slide on pads. Also they make it easy to wrap and store them for the next job keeping them in a set. I did not have any issues with them pulling on the back of my legs or tugging at my pants. The gel is a softer more forgiving surface making these very confortable. Actually once you put them on you just forget them and go about your work.The canvas material on the pads allows you to slide on the surface and not pull the pad off like a rubber pad does. I think this is a great item and do highly recommed it. I have been in the construction industry for 46 years and these old knees definaltey approve theses pads!
