Limited HART Capability
The Fluke 754 does not have full handshake HART communication abilities. Not only is the device list short with regard to what instruments it can communicate with, the 754 cannot access all menus or parameters made available by the given device. If you must stay within the Fluke product line and require a documenting unit for basic data generation, purchase the 753, and utilize your pc, tablet or handheld for communications.

Versatile
I bought the Fluke 754 to perform calibrations on furnace thermocouples. Since the meter can do so many other measurements, I am investigating performing additional calibrations including pressure meters.

Great tool!
I purchased this tool a little over two years ago now and still going strong getting beat around out in the oil fields. It's an indispensable part of my artillery for maintaining and repairing gas compressor automation systems and pretty much anything else I've run across

Fluke 754
Today I experienced a little issue that made me had to go back to the shop and get a 475. While doing a functional check/calibration of a Rosemount 3051 at 25 inH2O and using an ADT761 to run the the control the 754 would not let me adjust the transmitter without a Fluke pressure module. So I went back the the shop and got the 475 and left the Fluke.

Definitely an upgrade but still bulky
Much better than my 744. easier to see and battery life is much longer. was hoping they would make these smaller. the hart cable is much better. not a fan of the connection they use for presure transmitters but glad they kept it the same so i dont have to get new modules!

Great for educators!!!
We bought four Fluke 754 process calibrators this year. The versatility of this meter has proven to be the best feature for educating future instrumentation technicians. From pressure and temperature switches to all types of transmitters in our measurements classes and labs, the Fluke 754 is an all around centerpiece of the lab. In our process instrumentation class and labs, we introduce the HART capability of our instruments and the Fluke 754 is again the most versatile calibrator. In our calibration class is where the Fluke 754 has its best performance as the double screen lets the students have total control of the calibration process.

Perfect Do It All Meter!
I have been using this meter for over a year. I am able to do anything that I need to do to troubleshoot and calibrate industrial instrumentation. This meter eliminates the need to carry multiple calibration tools into the field. The HART function is also very handy! Best all around meter I own!

Great unit!! Include a mA clamp option!!
Excellent Meter, however fluke should provide a plug in mA current probe option so loop measurements can be done done without breaking the circuit!! Saves me carrying around the 773 as well.

nice all in one unit
I bought this unit 2 weeks ago and went to use it as a hart communicator and noticed it does not support my new yokogawa yta and eja transmitters. It supports versions 5.1 and 5.2 but not rev. 5.3.11. I am disapointed in this meter as a hart communicator. I hope I can get updates for the hart DDE's that I need before my to projects start.

Won't provide bias power for a 24Vdc, three-wire 4-20mA sensor
For $7000, I expected the world. I got all one could ask for... but for the little island I really needed. I wanted this unit to provide about 35mA of power to the +24V bias of my three-wire sensor and measure the 4-20mA output. No dice. It will do 2-wire loop power all day, alas, not three-wire. So, I'm stuck carrying around a 24V supply to power my sensor while the 754 meter reads the 4-20. I should have just bought a Hart Communicator for half the price and got a Fluke 789 for $900. The Fluke tech support said "This is the first time anybody asked for this feature." Really?
