I’ve owned this for 19 months. Within the first 6 months, I have to take it to the closest service center 1 hour from me. Took 3 weeks to get a new switch. Drove back to pick it up (4hours total). Too large to ship to them.
Now I’m sitting here with another bad switch. Saw won’t operate at all. I need to schedule another time to drop off for service and will ultimately lose another 4 hours of time and likely a few weeks without this tool.
I would bet I’ve got no more than 300 cuts on this tool.
The portability is nice but I’d take one that plugs into the wall, for reliability
