Just contacted Milwaukee for options.
I'm having the exact issue with the battery in my laser. Red and green light when you try to charge. Will not take or hold a charge. Battery is dead.
Sad part is even if Milwaukee ponies up and does the right thing and replaces my battery, the replacement will suffer the same fate.
Disappointed to say the least. Milwaukee has been my go to brand for years, and now I'm stuck with this laser and no way to reliably power it?
My company Ainsworth Inc. also almost exclusively uses Milwaukee tools. Having hundreds, if not thousands of units in union tradesmans hands.
You're better than this guys.
