Milwaukee 48-22-1505 Description
The MILWAUKEE® FASTBACK™ 6in1 Folding Utility Knife features a press and flip mechanism for easy, one-handed opening. The Milwaukee FASTBACK™ 6in1 Folding Utility Knife allows for make quick, tool-free blade changes for maximum jobsite efficiency. The utility knife has an all metal body, and a wire stripper for increased versatility. The 6in1 Folding Utility Knife includes a fold out 1/4" bit holder along with a reversible Phillips #2 and slotted 1/4" bit. For added functionality it also has a built in bottle opener. The folding utility knife is equipped with a durable wire belt clip to reduce pocket tearing and a blade holder designed for scoring. The folding utility knife has a metal extension that prevents accidental blade removal and a lanyard hole for convenient tethering.

great idea
i love this knife, except for the part where the screwdriver bit goes in... the bit keeps falling out.. yes i read reviews about it but figured milwaukee would have fixed it.. so now my bit is gone and im left with just a knife..which is the Main reason for buying it.. but the screwdriver bit was a great feature.. so needless to say, i love the idea of the knife but not happy with it

Good Knife Bad Bit Holder
Hello, It looks like I have the same problem as most people who bought the knife. Broken bit Holder. But I also lost the bit too. :(

Just like everyone, I lost the ball
I bought this a few months ago, and just like everyone I lost the ball holding the bit and Milwaukee don't want to warranty it. Save your money, buy something else unless you really don't care about the bit holder.

Bit Holder Redesign
I had an older model Fastback that I carried for three years with zero problems, until I lost it. I loved that knife. I thought, no problem. I got my money’s worth out of it and then some. Bought another with what I thought was an upgraded bit retainer. The original was great but hey, better is better…unless it isn’t. One month in, lost the ball bearing. I don’t want to switch knives. I want this one to work. It takes too long to find equipment that’s just perfect only for a change to ruin it. I’d still recommend the knife, but if I bought another, I’d glue a magnet into the bit holder AND put shrinkwrap around the retainer ring.

Replacement is back ordered till 10/2025
My favorite utility knife, but the bit does not stay in anymore, It was my second Milwaukee fastback bit I had to buy a while back. Problem is with bit holder retainer clip not holding the bit anymore. I called Milwaukee Customer Service, but the rep on the phone says the tool is under warranty but the bit is on back order till 10/2025… Might have to go with something else if I can’t get a replacement sooner…

good knifes bad bits holder
I love the knife and the tools on it but like everyone else the bit brakes or falls out I have bought 3 knifes
now because of how useful they are but cant find bits so I am looking for bits and i am looking at other knifes with the same efficiency.

Good but not without major design flaw!!!
i love the knife overall, but it has a major flaw. The clip that holds the ball detent in came loose and now the ball is gone. The bit just falls out without it. Would be a lot better if it had a magnet in the bit holder as well.

Tape
Had the older version, unfortunately it got crushed ... you know the story bit holder sucks I had to wrap electrical tape around it to keep the ball bearing and metal sleve in place I wish I could get my old one back, do better milwaukee

Useful knife, poor bit holder design.
Really liked this knife until the clip on the bit holder came loose and lost the ball bearing so now it will no longer retain the bit.

Good knife needs work
Knife is great extra blade holder is nice. But the clip and ball bearing don't keep the bit in place. Collar turned and ball bearing fell out and won't hold the bit anymore.
