A great pin nailer
This is a very nice pin nailer. It is easy to load and use and is really light. I am very happy with it.

It WAS a great product...
Now, after cleaning it good for the 3rd time in a year, it does not fire anymore...
Also, when you click on the Manual in the Porter cable site, it jumps on the repair page. I just want to study the manual and maybe order maintenance parts ...
It is frustrating...

Pretty good tool...but...
I would give this nail gun 5 stars if it had a depth setting. As it is, in order to sink the nail below the surface you have to press it to the wood hard enough for the gun tip to leave a dent, even with the rubber tip guard...and yes, even on hardwoods like oak and maple.

Laoded with Great Features!
I purchased this to complete professional fine detail woodworking. I am an avid Porter Cable user. Porter Cable is my first choice in woodworking. Have many in my arsenal of tools. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. PIN138 has good balance and quality manufacture. Dry-fire lock-out is a must feature. Like the no oil feature also. Price point is on the mark too.
