Ridgid 66492 Features
- A compact machine for institutional, commercial, or residential cleaning. Also ideal for septic tank vacuum truck operators. Small enough to fit into cramped spaces, yet powerful enough to clear tough blockages.
- Ideal for rooftop vent stacks. Rear handle allows for easy transporting up ladders and onto rooftops.
- Unique, easy-to-use instant-acting cable clutch maximizes operator control.-Push handle down, cable spins at 600RPM-Release handle, cable stops instantly, no overrun to kink or damage cable.
- Simple adjustment knob allows unit to spin both 7/8" and 5/8" diameter cable. Adjusts in seconds.--7/8" cable (C-10) cleans 2" - 4" lines through 150 feet.--5/8" cable (C-7, C-8, C-9) cleans 1-1/4" to 4" lines through 125 feet.
- Remove only two bolts to access jaw set for cleaning or replacement. Removal of same bolts provides acces to belt drive.
- Equipped with 1/2 HP motor

powerful and compact for clearing 3 to 5 inch pipe
I bought this machine as used. Mainly work has done in 4 inches pipes clearing pipes with some sludge, roots and garbage.

The Go-To Sewer Machine
There is no other sewer machine i trust more than my K60. This thing is a beast. I’ve cleared 6” drains, 100’ out with this thing. Highly recommend. It’s compact enough to hop onto a residential roof, strong enough for commercial use.

Versatile and tough
I switched from a drum machine and couldn't be happier. This little guy gets the job done on everything from kitchen, laundry, and floor drains to main sewer blockages and it doesn't kill my old back like that drum machine was after 30+ years in the trade.

Powerful and Versatile!
Compared to other machines I've used, this machine is the most versatile. You can take it upstairs, up on the roof, in the attic... wherever needed! It is powerful enough to clear difficult clogs, and you don't have to worry about the cable twisting up.

Love the light weight and functionality
Been using rigid k60 sewer machines since the suitcase days. Product just keeps improving becoming more durable more reliable. If you're buying a general machine good luck toting that heavy piece of junk up on a roof

Love Ridgid Link Cable Machines
I bought this machine this spring & LOVE IT. However the motor did start smoking in December and sent it in to Ridgid Service. Am waiting to hear if it is a warranty or something else.

Versatile, powerful.
I own a drain cleaning business and purchased the K60 with the 7/8 coils to be the anchor that propels my business forward. I’ve mainly use the machine to unclog residential sewer
Lines. I’m accustomed to using the Rigid K1500 cable machine. I purchased the k60 due to the versatility and portability. I’ve unclogged close to 100 blockages ranging from root blockages , tampons, rags etc…. The more difficult root blockages require a saw bit at which you’ll have to allow the bit to gradually cut the blockage as
You ease your way further down the drain. With a stronger machine like the 1500, root blockages are easier to tackle. Again, I don’t encounter difficult blockages often but when I do the k60 can unclog but with a little more time and finesse. I’ve already made my return on this machine and some. I highly recommend purchasing this machine along with the enclosed drum holder for your cables.

Easy to carry up on roof
We have 3 of these now for our plumbing company - and have been pleased with the performance. They are lightweight but get the job done for your basic residential plumbing needs. Wish the heads weren't quite so expensive - but other wise it has been a good investment for us. Having all our trucks outfitted with the same machine means we can swap parts if needed.
