Power Power Power
Awesome saw took very little time to fine tune.
Out of the box was more than accurate enough to start day 1 on any construction job site
So easy to move and takes up virtually no space. Fortunately I haven’t run into any of the problems that I’ve read in othe reviews or seen on YouTube. I always read reviews with a bag of salt

Great saw, needs blade alignment mechanism.
The saw cuts great! The blade was out of alignment almost 1/16” with the miter slots and fence right out of the box. There isn’t enough play in the holes in the mounting brackets to adjust this much, so being a machinist, I turned those holes into slots and was then able to align the blade. I couldn’t find an adjustment for this any other way. Saw is accurate now and I’m extremely happy with its performance. I would Skil recommend this saw. See what I did there?😂

Awesome Table Saw
Right out of the box this table saw was dead on.
All measurements from the blade to the fence and miter gauge were perfect.
I upgraded the miter gauge because what comes with all table saws are not well made.

Price is the kicker
Tried the SPT99-11 out today as I’m getting ready to retire my old 10 inch Rigid that I’ve had for a few years. Comparing it to the Dewalt, it comes down to price. If the Skil was down around the $450-$500 range with the Dewalt, I would choose Skil. Great saw though. I’ve used your 7 1/4 worm gear drive saws, on the job site for years.

Pefect woodworking table saw for small garage
This saw exceeded my expectation. Well build and excellently designed, the stand lets you cut sheet goods and the fence is delicate enough for fine woodworking. Motor is strong and cuts hardwood just fine. Great safety features: saw stops almost immediately when you hit the off button, and blade guard keeps your hands from blade even when you lift the clear plastic. Parts are easily removable and all have a palace to be stored in the stand. Takes a dado stack (though I don't have one yet.) Easily folds up to a small bundle. And I love how most of the saw dust gets directed to a bucket or a shop vac.

It Broke
I researched all brands heavily before purchase and this saw definitely seemed like the highest quality and well thought out design. I was not disappointed when I unpacked it and set it up. Everything seemed as advertised. This would certainly be a 5-star review if not for these two issues:
[1] The measuring guide is inaccurate. Off by +- 1/4" when compared to any standard ruler.
[2] It broke on my first project. I was ripping a small piece of maple 5x2x14 and the mounting bracket that the riving knife is bolted to broke. That bracket is part of the cast-aluminum motor housing so it looks like the motor will need to be replaced. I will know more when I call for service on Monday.

good saw
kick back is tenable, otherwise I love the saws ease of movement and easy blade change and the power is great.
