3M Cold Shrink Insulator 8426-9 is an EPDM rubber, factory-expanded cold shrink tube on a removable core that provides primary insulation and a water-resistant environmental seal for cable connections. It installs quickly by hand with no tools or heat, and is designed for sealing terminal lug barrels, conduit couplings, and conduit-to-cable breakouts on solid dielectric insulated wires and cable splices rated up to 1000 volts.
