3M Cold Shrink Insulator 8424-8 is a factory-expanded EPDM rubber tube on a removable plastic core that provides primary insulation and a water-resistant environmental seal for cable connections and splices rated up to 1 kV. It installs by hand with no tools or heat and is suitable for indoor/outdoor, direct burial, and submersible applications.
