3M Scotch Filament Tape 898 is designed for full overlap L-clip box closures, bundling pipe, and reinforcing bulk containers. The filament-reinforced polypropylene backing delivers high tensile strength and resists abrasion, moisture, scuffing, and breaking. A multi-layer synthetic rubber adhesive bonds well to common packaging materials including corrugated cardboard, fiberboard, plastic, and metals, and the tape dispenses consistently without curling.
