Bosch Cobalt M42 Metal Drill Bits are engineered with an upgraded M42 alloy containing 8% cobalt for up to 10X life versus standard bits. These jobber-length bits withstand high-heat applications, while the thick web-helix design supports fast material removal and added stability. Bits 1/8 in. and larger feature a split point for easy starts, and bits 3/16 in. and larger feature a three-flat shank for better grip. Designed for stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, light-gauge metal, aluminum, and other hard or abrasive metals.
