Bosch Cobalt M42 Metal Drill Bit is engineered with upgraded M42 alloy containing 8% cobalt for up to 10X life versus standard bits. This jobber-length twist bit withstands high-heat applications and uses a thick web-helix design with a surface-hardened tip for stable drilling in stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, light-gauge metal, and aluminum.
