Bosch Cobalt M42 Metal Drill Bits are engineered with an upgraded M42 alloy containing 8% cobalt for up to 10X life versus standard bits. This 1/8 in. x 2-3/4 in. jobber-length twist drill bit withstands high-heat applications and features a thick web-helix design for fast material removal and added stability. A surface-hardened split-point tip helps start holes accurately with less skating in stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, light-gauge metal, aluminum, and other hard or abrasive metals.
