Bosch Cobalt M42 metal drill bits are built with an upgraded M42 alloy containing 8% cobalt for up to 10X life versus standard bits. This jobber-length bit is designed for high-heat drilling in stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, light-gauge metal, and aluminum, with a thick web-helix design, split point, and three-flat shank for stability, easy starts, and improved grip.
