The Bosch RA1166 plunge router base expands the versatility of Bosch 1617 and 1618 series routers with smooth plunge action and precise depth control. It features a spring-lock plunge control lever, a multi-step adjustable depth stop turret, and a microfine depth adjustment on the rod for fast, accurate settings. The base delivers up to 2-5/16 in. plunge depth and a precision-centering design that helps keep the bit on the intended cut line when used with jigs, templates, and dovetail fixtures.
