Complete a variety of metal and concrete cutting applications with the 60V MAX Brushless Cordless 4-1/2" to 6" Grinder with KICKBACK BRAKE. As part of the PERFORM & PROTECT product line, this tool features Kickback Brake and the Anti-Rotation E-CLUTCH System designed to help protect the user in bind-up situations by shutting down the tool. Power through tough jobs with 13 Amp motor equivalent power and a no-load speed of 9,000 rpm.

DeWalt DCG418MX1 Features
- 13 amp motor equivalent power
- 9000 rpm no-load speed for applications with 6" grinder wheels
- Brake engages when the trigger is released with stopping speeds of 1.5 seconds with standard grinding wheel (4-1/2" x 1/4" bonded abrasive wheel, non-hubbed)
- Kickback brake engages when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed. the electronic brake engages with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel, reduce the movement of the grinder, and shut the grinder off
- E-clutch activates in less than a tenth of a second when a pinch/stall is detected, shutting down the motor
- Up to 30% more power vs the dcg414
