The Skullerz 8955 Lightweight Bump Cap Hat is a comfortable and stylish hat with a ventilated impact-resistant shell for breathable protection against bumps, scrapes, bruises and other minor head injuries. At less than 5oz // 135g (micro brim), this incredibly lightweight bump cap delivers optimal comfort without compromising safety. This bump cap tackles two big challenges workers face in the field: weight and heat. The removable bump cap insert is made of a lightweight but durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with maximum ventilation for all-day breathability that doesnt compromise protection. Lining the insert is a removable, washable and anti-microbial EPP foam pad for enhanced comfort, protection and airflow. This pad also helps prevents sweat from dripping down into eyes. Vents in the insert and foam pad channel heat away from the head and Cooling Channels allow additional airflow above the pad.
