Fluke 2075004 Description
The Fluke 83 Series V Industrial Digital Multimeter is an average responding-RMS indicating digital multimeter (also known as a multitester) for measuring AC/DC voltage up to 1,000V, AC/DC current to 10 amp (20 amp for a maximum of 30 seconds), frequency to 200KHz, resistance to 50 megaohms, and capacitance to 9,999 microfarads and includes continuity and diode tests. The 6,000-count resolution, 3-3/4 digit digital display is backlit for readability in low-light conditions and includes an analog bar graph which updates 40 times per second which is useful for making peak and null adjustments and for observing rapidly changing inputs.

Measurment confidence
I am a technician with two decades experience and bought this meter for use in vacuum tube circuit design/repair and other general electronic projects in my home lab. Owned over the years many competing products from other established brands in the same price bracket. In my experience I found that Fluke delivers better measurement confidence, stability and reliability over the years (I had 25+ year old flukes still in spec), immunity from interference and well developed firmware with no bugs or weird behavior. Others may have additional (rarely used) features or they may state better specs on paper but usually don't inspire confidence when the measurements you get are not always stable and repeatable. I really like using this product, it is a dependable, professional instrument that earned my trust.

Awesome multimeter
Being a service technician for commercial kitchen and laundry products, I was looking for a good quality multimeter to do everything that I require in one meter. l checked out several competitor brands with similar features, but none had everything that I was looking for. Then I found the 83v, with features like resistance, capacitance, ac/dc voltage, inline micro amps etc..., I didn't hesitate picking it up. I have been using it for about 10 months now and I don't regret the purchase one bit. Great meter Fluke, thanks, you made me a fan.

the screen is easy to read
I bought this from a local tool man and he showed me some of the features. What I really like is how easy it is to read millie amps and back to amps. it also has a hard case around the meter so incase you drive over the meter it still works.

Great product. Recommended!
Very good product. Very usefull and I am happy to have allways close by when you need to make any electrical measurments. Very stable with large display. Durable working in any invirements and conditions. Recommended for everyone to have at home!

Great Meter
Really like this meter. It has a solid build quality and the display is very clear. Make sure to not get it confused with the 87V, they have different features but look similar. The continuity mode is one of the best in the industry, it makes a beep immediately when you touch a short instead of having to wait for a small delay like on some meters. The supplied probes are also quite nice they are small and fit in the hands nicely.
