Fluke proving unit kits combine the PRV420 proving unit with either a Fluke multimeter, clamp meter, or electrical tester providing you optimal flexibility based on your application requirements. These kits are ideal for electrical maintenance personnel, electrical contractors, and electricians in the electrical, oil and gas, utilities markets, and more. These kits, with included PRV240 proving unit, are designed for safety and compliance applying the concept of test before touch (TBT) that involves testing your meter against a known live source before and after measurements. This verifies that your test tool is operating properly during the actual measurement without exposing yourself to shock or arc flash.
