1-1/2 inch deep 4-in square welded junction boxes with metal stud brackets and (4) 1/2-in & (5) 1/2-in - 3/4-in side knockouts and (3) 1/2-in & (2) 3/4-in bottom knockouts are used when 4-in square boxes must be mounted directly to wood or metal studs. Square boxes are used to bring power to a number of electrical devices when multiple conductor runs are split in two or more directions. Garvin's 4-in square boxes with attached brackets allow a quick easy installation and keep the boxes upright for an effort less conduit connection.
