Purchased this to do a transmission relearn on a Subaru FVT after doing a fluid change and it worked like a charm. It walked me through the process step-by-step, and made sure I was performing the needed input (step on brakes, shift transmission into a specific gear, ect...) to complete the relearn.

WIll be using it again this week to diagnose an issue we have with our Dodge Caravan.

No update fee is a great plus against the competitors, but lack of IM readiness function is quite confusing. Hope it will be applied through update.

Being a 30 plus year Tech using keys to jump OBD1 connectors of the past, fast forward to using tools of today. Technology has changed and so has Gearwrench with the SMARTBT, wow. Very affordable for such a powerful product. Have found using a smart phone is useful while watching live data when performing test drives. I have not yet had any vehicles in need of a scan. I did spend some time with it to get it setup and explore some of the features. The OBDII reader connects easily to iOS which has been a challenge for some other OBDII scanners I have used in the past. It struggles a bit to identify the vehicle. I tested it on a 1997 F250 Powerstroke and a 2022 Bronco. It was unable to identify either of them and I had to manually select. However it did uncover an issue that I was unaware of with the powerstroke. So kudos there. I look forward to doing some data logging with it.

Very awesome product for the price and functions it has. It's no Autell but can do a lot for what it is. I like how it breaks down the report and makes everything user and mobile friendly. Definitely will be my go to diagnostic tool unless I need dealer level functions.

The most competent scanner I've used in 20 years of home mechanic work and it includes the deep diagnostics for every manufacturer I can think of. Best of all is the lifetime updates on the software which is where I have been really let down by other scanners in the past!

I've only used a couple of manufacturers packages so far but they have all been able to access the various systems and sub modules and not just OBDII codes like so many others.

Easy to use Bluetooth dongle that connects from my phone to the car. The app has tons of features and updates that help deep dive most issues on my f150. I have a tire pressure sensor that went out and it easily and automatically found that issue. On my 04 Sti I am able to just plug in the Bluetooth dongle and find codes for the abs module that is notoriously hard to find and usually needs special connectors or a special Subaru scanner to use.
