Greenlee 648 Features
- Split-Point, Cobalt-Steel Pilot Drill – the split-point tip eliminates walking, and makes for faster penetration with less force.
- Tungsten Carbide Teeth – provide maximum life in stainless steel and produce round, accurate, burr-free holes
- Optimized Carbide Design – precision engineered carbide inserts reduce both friction and torque, requiring less force and generating less heat while cutting, leading to extended tool life.
- Flange Stop for Safety – prevents over-drilling
- Ejector Spring – automatically removes the slug with every cut
- Lubrication while drilling helps to further extend the life of cutting tools. Greenlee recommends the use of 462 Series Cutting Oil, available in quart (462-Q) and gallon (462-1) sizes.
