The Guardian Fall Protection “Rebar Positioning Devices” allow workers to lean away from walls while keeping their hands free. They must be accompanied by a harness with side positioning rings. Free fall must be limited to less than 2 feet if not using a fall arrest system as this product is designed for fall prevention and not intended for fall arrest. Positioning device systems are combinations of equipment which are intended to permit the user to use both hands freely while being supported on an elevated vertical surface as in rebar and concrete form work. Our unit is designed to comply the latest, most stringent requirement of ANSI A10.32-2004, among which (a) the chain must be grade 80 and 9/32 inch or greater and (b) offer an overall minimum tensile strength of 5,000 pound. All chain assemblies come with quick links for easy length adjustments.
