This LENOX 1/4 in 1-step pilot drill bit uses a step bit design to reduce the need for predrilling and help minimize hole saw grabbing when drilling metal. A pilot point tip starts drilling on contact and the 1/4 in flat shank fits both quick change and traditional non-quick change arbors.
