The strip helps prevent splintering of work material, when used with the guide rail and Corded and Cordless 6-1/2" Plunge Circular Saws. The replacement strip is to be used on Makita Guide Rails (part #199140-0, 194368-5, 194367-7), and is engineered for quick installation.
