18V LXT® High-Pressure Inflator Kit (DMP181SYX) can inflate vehicle tires, bicycle tires, sports balls, and more. The Makita-built motor delivers up to 160 PSI. It can conveniently top off car and light truck tires with speed and efficiency. The High-Pressure Inflator features a 25-1/2” hose length that provides better reach. The compact design allows for easy portability and convenient storage. The DMP181 features an auto-stop function that automatically stops inflation when preset air pressure is reached to prevent overfill. It has three speed settings, including High, Medium, and Low. Convenience features include an ergonomically designed handle with rubberized soft grip that provides increased user comfort. There is an air release button that allows pressure to be released if over-inflation occurs. It features a compact and lightweight design for convenient storage and easy portability. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls™. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita® 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside.
