Makita is meeting demand with an expanding collection of cordless lawn mowers, 40V max XGT® Brushless 21" Self-Propelled Commercial Lawn Mower (GML01Z). With zero emissions, lower noise, and considerably less maintenance than gas-powered mowers, this lawn mower is a welcome solution for landscapers. The 21" Self-Propelled Commercial Lawn Mower features a high torque motor that delivers gas performance, with high vacuum lift for premium cut quality. The Makita-built brushless motor delivers up to 2,800 RPM. It can cut up to 1-1/5 acre with (2) 40V XGT® 8.0Ah batteries. (sold separately). Quiet mode reduces noise by providing constant speed control at 2,300 RPM. The GML01Z features self-propelled cruise control technology with variable speed (1 MPH - 3 MPH) and features a commercial grade steel deck. A 3-in-1 design allows for mulching, bagging, or side discharge. The mower features large, 9” wheels for rough terrain, while steel ball bearings in the wheels provide a smoother drive with better maneuverability and increased durability. A single lever quickly adjusts the cutting height (1-1/4” – 4”). The lawn mower features IPX4 weather-resistant construction and exclusive Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™). XPT is a protective seal inside the tool and is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. XGT® is a system of equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers utilizing 40v max lithium-ion batteries. XGT is engineered to deliver high power to take on high-demand applications, allowing users to completely transition to a cordless job site. XGT® is equipped with advanced brushless motor engineering, intelligent digital communication, and superior durability features to outpower, outsmart and outlast the rest.
