The planer is built for fast stock removal with a 12,000 RPM brushless motor and can plane up to 3-1/4 in. wide and 1/8 in. deep in a single pass. It is AWS capable for compatible wireless dust control (transmitter sold separately), while the straight shear adds clean, cordless cutting performance for sheet metal and similar materials.
