Mathey D249 Description
The Mathey Double Jackscrew Pipe Chain Clamp is designed to support, align, and reform pipe and fittings during fit-up and welding. Dual jackbars help reform both sides of the joint and apply pressure to reduce Hi-Low, while the jackbar design provides extra welding clearance so work can continue with the clamp in place. This D249 model fits 4 in to 20 in pipe.

- Fits 4 in to 20 in pipe for alignment and reforming applications
- Double jackbars allow reforming on both sides of the joint
- Helps eliminate Hi-Low by exerting pressure on high points
- Jackbar design provides extra welding clearance to complete welds with clamp installed
- Aligns pipe with wall thickness up to schedule 80
- Reforms schedule 40 pipe on either side of the joint
- Supports alignment and holding of fittings such as elbows, tees, and flanges (with optional level and support device)
