The MILWAUKEE® M18 FUEL™ " Mid-Torque Impact Wrench w/ Friction Ring delivers the best power to weight ratio, most access in tight spaces, and faster removal speed. It provides 650 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque and only weighs 5.1 lbs, making it extremely versatile, capable of performing a wide variety of applications. Its POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor generates the power needed to quickly perform many tasks, such as removing large bolts or lug nuts. This battery-powered impact wrench is the most compact in its class, allowing access to stubborn fasteners in spaces where larger impact wrenches can’t fit without needing to disassemble components to reach bolts. Tri-LEDs surround the anvil to deliver brighter light with fewer shadows. 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL™ offers greater precision with a range of pre-set RPM and IPM levels, selectable from a single button on the tool. By selecting Mode 4, AUTO SHUT-OFF™ control applies no more than 35 ft-lbs of torque for hand-tight fastening applications to prevent overtightening. Mode 4 also features Bolt Removal Control that delivers full torque output, then decreases RPMs once the bolt is loosened to prevent fastener drops. REDLINK PLUS™ Intelligence ensures maximum performance, protecting the tool against overloads, over-heating, and over-discharge. The M18™ REDLITHIUM™ battery pack (not included) fits M18™ tools, delivering more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack.

Love it and used daily.
Only issue was intermittent dead trigger. Got a new unit under warranty which made me happy. Hoping the new one will be better longer. Otherwise absolutely love it and use it daily :) fantastic product

Amazing power and lightweight with many features!
Great impact with lots of torque and very lightweight! It’s rips lug nuts off without an issue given you use n impact socket like your supposed to! No regrets on this purchase and would recommend for tire changes and most car repairs jobs. Much lighter than the high torque which is overkill in most situations unless you do a lot of suspension works or crank bolts. Otherwise the mid torque the best model!!

M18 Mid-Torque Impact Wrench
Unbelievably light for the power it generates. Perfect for the DIY'er who is NOT rebuilding a CAT D9 in their back yard. Stronger than my pneumatic impact wrench and able to get into very tight spots due to its small profile.

Some days I need the 650ft.lb. of torque!
It helped me get the job done when replacing my Struts on my car. Also takes lug nuts loose very easily.

Difficulty with sockets
Initially disappointed with this tool. Own many Milwaukee Tools but had problem with inserting battery initially. Battery would not go in even trying several other M18 batteries. Had to force it on eventually. Then having trouble attaching Impact sockets. Very difficult to install a socket and even more difficult removing the socket. Have to use a screwdriver to wedge it off. Not sure if friction ring being the culprit. Operation of torque wrench works well otherwise.

Did not last
Used the impact twice and it stopped working.. Got my mony back. I am not sure if i will get another impact. I like milwaukee tools, mostly the m18 because the batteries are more robust compared to the m12. M12 battery locking tabs break easily.. They should start looking at different material to make their m12 batteries and then i might get some of them also..

DISAPPOINTED
Not sure if I got a bad one but I find this tool useless, it can’t break even the slightest lug nuts or somewhat tight bolts. Does have decent tighten strength but I seem to always end up grabbing my high torque since this one can’t get the job done. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!

Awesome
The power that this mid torque impact tool out performs any my expectations. It’s smooth and has plenty of torque for my needs. Removed the wheels from vehicle to put winter tires on and it performed really well.

Compact Tool Everyone Needs (should have)
This is a very compact but still has plenty of torque. I'm glad I purchased this impact wrench. I have an M18 Hi-Torque I used to use, but I have found that this M12 Mid-Torque can do almost all of the jobs I was using my Hi-Torque on. Light weight, compact size, fits almost anywhere.

Pretty good
Have mid torque and high torque works hasn’t let me down it’s light compared to my high torque so it’s worth it for lighter stuff works good only complaint is I had trouble taking sockets off it but only little thing but other then that great tool.
