The Milwaukee 49-40-6110 Cutting Dust Shroud provides users with a solution for the regulation on respirable crystalline silica dust (29 CFR 1926.1153). The 49-40-6110 is optimized for cutting applications with both AC and DC Milwaukee small angle grinders. Attach to the Milwaukee 8960-20 8 Gallon Dust Extractor for a complete OSHA Table 1 compliant solution.

Great product
Fits perfect and great dust collection. Must read directions to ensure compatibility with grinder. Any reviews saying this does not fit means the person did not read the comparability statements in the directions.

Not happy
Very disappointed with this I have a 2780–20 cordless grinder does not fit so I went out and purchased a corded 4 1/2 half inch grinder brand new from Home Depot purchased September 15, 2023 and this still does not fit a waste of money.

Double check fit!
I bought this to cut plaster in a remodel. I have the same problem as everyone else. My battery grinder is less than a year old. Why the 2 spline patterns? Milwaukee I expect better from you.

No dust as I am grinding out floor cracks!
Contrary to all the other reviews here this shroud does in fact fit the M18 4 1/2" grinder. I'm using them to grind out the cracks in my basement floor for caulking/sealing as I remodel. I will use it going forward for silica dust management at work(commercial construction.
