The Powermatic 20-inch planer is built for shops that need increased capacity and cutting strength with 230V single-phase power. Driven by a 5 HP motor, it planes wide panels and dense hardwoods with confidence. The helical cutterhead uses four-sided inserts for a smooth finish with reduced tear out and noise, and provides easy access for insert rotation or replacement to minimize downtime. A digital readout supports precise thickness control, while dual feed speeds help balance fast stock removal and fine finishing.
