This Powermatic 20 in. floor standing planer is built for shops running 460V, 3-phase power. A 5 HP motor and 20 in. capacity support continuous production use, while the helical cutterhead with 68 four-sided inserts running at 5200 RPM delivers smooth results with reduced noise and simplified maintenance. Dual feed speeds (16 and 28 FPM) and a built-in digital readout help balance fast stock removal with accurate, repeatable thickness settings. Heavy cast iron tables provide stability and reduced vibration, and a 4 in. dust port supports effective chip evacuation when paired with adequate dust collection.
