Simpson Strong-Tie HD3BHDG Description
The HD3BHDG bolted holdown from Simpson Strong-Tie is a light-duty holdown designed for shearwalls, braced-wall panels, and other lateral applications. It offers low deflection performance and is tested for vertical and horizontal use.

- Use all specified fasteners
- Ensure bolt holes are 1/32" to 1/16" larger than the bolt diameter
- Tighten stud bolts snugly with standard cut washers between wood and nut
- Install flush with the sill plate for self-jigging and minimum bolt end distance
- Use standard cut washer under the anchor nut for specific anchor sizes
