The HETA embedded truss anchor series provides an engineered method to properly attach roof trusses to concrete and masonry walls.

Simpson Strong-Tie HETA20/TSS2 Installation Overview
- Embed the anchor 4" into a 6" minimum concrete beam or 8" nominal grouted block wall
- Ensure proper alignment and use of specified fasteners
- For mislocated anchors, provide a shim designed by a Truss Engineer if the gap is between 1/8" and 1 1/2"
- Do not install fasteners where straps overlap in double embedded anchor installations
