- Embed the anchor 4" into a 6" minimum concrete beam or 8" nominal grouted block wall

- For mislocated anchors, provide a shim designed by a Truss Engineer if the gap is greater than 1/8" but less than 1 1/2"
- Avoid installing fasteners where straps overlap in double embedded anchor installations
