Simpson Strong-Tie LSCSS Description
The LSCSS adjustable stair-stringer connector provides a concealed connection between stair stringers and headers or rim joists, replacing costly framing and offering corrosion resistance with its stainless steel finish.

Simpson Strong-Tie LSCSS Features
- Replaces additional framing and toe-nailing
- Suitable for most installations on 2x10 or 2x12 header/rim joist
- May be installed flush with the top of the carrying member or lower on the face
- Interchangeable for left or right applications
- Features a Stainless Steel coating for additional corrosion protection, suitable for exterior applications

Simpson Strong-Tie LSCSS Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners
- Position the stair stringer with the LSC on the carrying member to verify where the bend should be located
- Tabs on the LSC must be positioned to the inside of the stairs
- The fastener installed into the bottom edge of the stringer must go into the second-to-last hole
- For LVL or LSL stringers, consider flange protrusion and fastener length
