- Embed the anchor 4" into a 6" minimum concrete beam or 8" nominal grouted block wall
- Ensure proper alignment and secure with specified fasteners
- For mislocated anchors, use a shim designed by a Truss Engineer if the gap is between 1/8" and 1 1/2"
- Avoid installing fasteners where straps overlap in double embedded anchor installations
