Simpson META20 Installation Overview
- Embed the anchor 4 inches into a 6-inch minimum concrete beam or 8-inch nominal grouted block wall
- Ensure proper alignment and secure with specified fasteners
- For mislocated anchors, use a shim designed by a Truss Engineer if the gap is between 1/8 inch and 1 1/2 inches
- Avoid installing fasteners where straps overlap in double embedded anchor installations
