- Embed the anchor 4 inches into a 6-inch minimum concrete beam or 8-inch nominal grouted block wall
- Ensure proper alignment and secure with specified fasteners
- For mislocated anchors, use a shim designed by a Truss Engineer if the gap is within specified limits
- Avoid installing fasteners where straps overlap in double anchor installations
