- Install nails with a powered nail tool, ensuring face protection

- Ensure minimum vertical spacing of nails to prevent wood splitting
- Provide lateral restraint if hanger height is less than 60% of joist height
- Install web stiffeners or vertical webs for I-joist or floor truss members
