The MTW45-8-R10 Mass Timber Angled Washer is designed for use with 10 gauge connection plates and 8 mm-diameter screws, providing increased strength and stiffness for mass timber connections.

Simpson Strong-Tie MTW45-8-R10 Installation Overview
- Use all specified MTW45-8 washers and Strong-Drive SDCF Timber-CF screws.
- Allowable connector plate thickness is 10 gauge minimum and 1/2" maximum.
- Fabricate plates with obround holes as specified.
- Insert MTW45-8 into obround holes and drive screws at a 45° angle.
- Ensure countersunk screw heads are fully seated into the washer hole.
