Simpson Strong-Tie PGT1.5Z-R Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners
- Install on vertical pipes, offsetting corners for correct rail alignment
- Use 3 to 4 PGTs per pipe, aligning to stringline
- Fasten PGT with supplied 1/4" hex head bolt
- Attach rails with four SDS 1/4"x1-1/2" HDG wood screws
- Field bend PGT flanges for corner and angled conditions (bend one time only)
